Industrial cantilever
Upright-free shelving, designed for storing long and bulky materials (pipes, planks, metal profiles).
More DetailsAutomated mobile aisle allowing storage of almost twice the amount of goods compared to a standard selective pallet rack.
The Mobile Pallet Rack, also known as the "Shuttle Rack." Revolutionizing storage methods, the Shuttle Rack combines the efficiency of the "drive-in" system with the automation of a robotic pallet, providing an unparalleled solution in terms of compactness and convenience.
How does it work? It's simple. Once the pallet is deposited on the desired level with a forklift, just press a button and let the robot do the work. Imagine a system where pallet handling occurs without the constant intervention of an operator with a forklift. Thanks to integrated rails, the robotic pallet moves autonomously, ensuring a considerable time-saving.
The Mobile Pallet Rack offers the benefits of "push-back" without the drawbacks and those of "drive-in." It's the ideal compromise for warehouses and logistics facilities looking to maximize storage space without compromising pallet accessibility. The compactness of this system optimizes every square inch of your storage space.
However, the exceptional quality of the Mobile Pallet Rack comes with a higher financial investment. It is the most expensive system on the market, but its efficiency and undeniable advantages make it a wise choice for those seeking the ultimate in warehouse management.
It's essential to note that the Mobile Pallet Rack requires regular maintenance of the robotic pallets and a battery replacement after a few years. These operations ensure the long-term durability and optimal performance of the system.
In summary, the Mobile Pallet Rack is more than just a storage system; it's an intelligent automated solution for efficient warehouse management. Explore the unique advantages of this technology and discover how it can transform your storage space today.
Groupe ITC offers five main types of pallet racking: selective, mobile (Shuttle Rack), gravity (push-back), dynamic (pallet flow) and drive-in (condensed static). Each type optimizes storage density, pallet accessibility and stock rotation differently.
The choice mainly depends on your stock rotation (FIFO or LIFO), the level of selectivity required, the target storage density and your budget. Selective racking gives direct access to every pallet, while condensed systems maximize capacity at the expense of selectivity. Our consulting service helps determine the optimal configuration.
Selective racking provides direct, individual access to each pallet, ideal for a wide variety of SKUs. The drive-in (condensed static) system stores pallets in depth to maximize capacity but reduces selectivity. The first favors accessibility, the second density.
For FIFO rotation (first in, first out), dynamic pallet-flow racking moves pallets toward the exit by gravity. For LIFO rotation (last in, first out), push-back gravity racking or drive-in systems are more suitable. The choice depends on the nature of your products and their expiry dates.
The Gravitex 3D is a patented Radio Shuttle Rack system designed for high-density pallet management. It combines a motorized shuttle with a condensed structure to deliver efficiency and reliability in high-volume warehouses.
