For FIFO rotation (first in, first out), dynamic pallet-flow racking moves pallets toward the exit by gravity. For LIFO rotation (last in, first out), push-back gravity racking or drive-in systems are more suitable. The choice depends on the nature of your products and their expiry dates.

Selective racking provides direct, individual access to each pallet, ideal for a wide variety of SKUs. The drive-in (condensed static) system stores pallets in depth to maximize capacity but reduces selectivity. The first favors accessibility, the second density.

The choice mainly depends on your stock rotation (FIFO or LIFO), the level of selectivity required, the target storage density and your budget.
